Tapped Drill motor holes: thread anyone?

I don't want to re-thread the tapped holes on the front (non-terminal) side of the drill motors, but I can't read the print, it's late, and I don't have the hardware here at home. Can anyone tell me what the thread is on these bad boys? I'm going to figure it out eventually, but the less time I spend hunting for screws to chop down the better. Thanks. -Joe

The sheet I have, a third or fourth generation copy, calls the tapped holes "2 - M4.0 / Tapped holes". Note 6 says "tapped / holes can accept a maximum usable male screw or pin length of 3.0 mm".
