We're planning on using a Jacob as a human player so this is encouraging.

Or more succinctly: by making the HP a third driver. This is an option, as there are no real rule distinctions between the HPs and drivers this year (or did I miss something?).

Re: Human Player Feats

Imagine if the last matches of Einstein were just HPs throwing noodles into half-made stacks to disrupt robots/ stack scoring.

Considering the trend in scores, I'm not sure that's all that far from the truth...

The 2168 HP was undoubtedly one of the best I have seen. His consistency in putting up litter points proved impactful on the outcome of many matches.

Yup they actually put it in the rules that the hp can drive.

Re: Human Player Feats

We can create 6 stacks with can and a noodle in about 40 seconds or less. That means that our human players and driver have to be fast and focused. It is really cool to watch.

Our human player is Jacob. The prototypical HP must be named Jacob. Though, he is not a noodle-throwing machine/god.

We also have a Jacob. His specialty is that he is really tall and way better at putting litter in RCs from over the glass than anyone else.

Watching video from the Australian Regional, it appears he is just very enthusiastic when he opens the chute door. He sometimes releases the tote at the top of the chute, and attempts the door before it touches the door, but this is not always the case. You can watch him break a handle off at 2:09:50 in this video https://youtu.be/Hgaex5m52XM?t=2h9m44s . If I were a ref or volunteer, I think I would have to warn him about that, 3132 played in 20 matches, breaking the handle off the door every other match is ridiculous, considering there are plenty of other teams doing the same thing that have never broken one.

Thanks for finding that. I have a feeling that this wouldn't have flew too well at other districts' events. I thought he might have been slamming the chute door on the tote in an attempt to manipulate it but it appears that he's just being incredibly rough on the door. I'm still questioning the whole "alliance wall" part, though -- OP, what did you do to break an entire alliance's wall?

Re: Human Player Feats

1647's human player is by far the best I have ever seen. He can consistently get all 10 noodles across the field and they always seem to be in the worst possible place for the team on the other side of the step.
