Andymark and Vex Pro Suppliers in Australia?

Im currently looking at sourcing some parts for our robot from Andymark and Vex Robotics, however, my team is based in Sydney, Australia. This means that postage is insanely high for anything that we order from the U.S. Does anyone know a supplier of Andymark and Vex Pro parts in Australia, or even the Southern Hemisphere?

At the moment, your best option would be to coordinate group orders with other teams in your country.

This is what First Australia is distributing. http://www.andymark.com/Aussie-s/539.htm Other than that your best bet is what Spirator said...

Re: Andymark and Vex Pro Suppliers in Australia?

While it will take longer you could talk to some of the Australian teams attending the World Championship in St. Louis to see if you could have some items shipped to their hotel and they can send it back in their robot crate.

Re: Andymark and Vex Pro Suppliers in Australia?

Actually AndyMark, at least in the past, has delivered parts to team's pits in St. Louis so that portion is easy.

VEX does have other options for shipping to Australia. Your best bet is to send an email to our Sales team via sales@vexrobotics.com, so they can determine the best and least expensive option for you.

I'm looking at getting some omni wheels from Andymark, and a versaplanetary gearbox from Vex. Unfortunately international shipping is about $120 US, and we're on a tight budget at the moment.

Re: Andymark and Vex Pro Suppliers in Australia?

The best supply of AndyMark goods are in Kokomo, Indiana.

Unless Andy Baker wants to make a cool little trip to Australia, or you go to championship, I think the shipping fee for Andymark will have to do.
