I'll be going to Lake Superior State University for undecided engineering but I'm most likely going to pick computer engineering.

Re: Follow up: Class of 2015, Where Are You Going?
I plan on going into aerospace engineering at GT or Michigan. That's why I'm so stuck, their programs are extremely comparable (#3 and #2 nationwide respectively), and I loved visiting both.

Re: Follow up: Class of 2015, Where Are You Going?
It is MIT, but I didn't get in there. Congrats to anyone who did, as I personally know of a few geniuses who were rejected. When you're comparing top 5 (or probably top 10 for that matter) engineering schools, I'm not sure job placement and opportunities are affected much by subtle changes in ranking. I got a slightly better vibe off of my visit to GT, and their facilities are amazing as well. I don't think you can beat a rec center built for the Olympics in terms of campus life/amenities.

Re: Follow up: Class of 2015, Where Are You Going?
MIT is #1 in every engineering discipline it offers
![]() If anyone has questions/wants to discuss MIT, send me a message. I loved MIT and would go back there in a heartbeat, but I will be honest with you about the less glamorous aspects of MIT life as well. |

Feel free to message any of the mentors currently donning a Purdue team flair (461, 1646, 1747, 4272) about the Purdue FIRST Programs, and any questions about life, departments, opportunities, and more at Purdue.
