Houston, TX Reagan HS 441 Seeks New Teacher/Coach

Hello all!

As the current school sponsor/coach for FRC team #441 at Reagan High School, I am looking for someone in the Houston area to take over my position as engineering teacher and school sponsor for the team, since I am transferring schools next year.

The teaching position is for 2 or 3 levels of high school engineering (9-11th grade), with open choice in terms of curriculum. The students belong to the Engineering Academy at the school.

The school itself is in a really great part of town (Houston Heights) and it's a wonderful place to work, with an awesome local community.

The DiscoBots are a few miles away from 441 and our teams work together often.

The teaching position at Reagan is a fantastic opportunity that does not come around very often.

Houston ISD is a disadvantaged district but the local robotics community in Houston is very strong and provides many resources to help teachers grow.

Also, the cost of living is low and it never snows !
