Match 113 they scored 2 42pt stacks, but their third was on their teather.

Man, that's unfortunate. Thankfully not a mechanical failure or anything, good to hear.

We just played our last match of the day with 1023, and believe me when I say they are back on top.
20 point auto, folowed by 3 full 6 stacks
It was amazing to watch

They are literally on top as well ending the day barely ahead of 33 as the #1 seed. I can't wait to see how they do in eliminations.

Re: MSC Top Bots Preview

Also would like to point out that at the end of today, 101 out of the 102 teams have a qualification average over 100. This is fantastic!

Pretty much all of the rankings are very close, I expect to see them change very much before the exciting alliance selection tomorrow.

Any predictions on who the #1 seed, probably either 1023 or 33, will take for their first pick? I'm guessing 548, but there's so many strategies they could take.

Re: MSC Top Bots Preview

Unlike districts, the rankings haven't stabilized yet, even with only 1 or 2 matches to go. Because the scores are so high, one bad match can cause a team to drop 15, 20 or even more places. And then it's hard to come back, even with good scores, more than 3 or 4 places per match.

And with so many teams, there are many congregated around score ranges. For example, there are 16 teams in the 155-165 range now. Somebody scores a 180 or 200, they jump up. Then another team gets a good score, and they pass them again. The teams keep going up and down.

It's going to be interesting to see who survives in the top 16, how much in-picking there will be, and how far down in the ranks the #16 captain was originally.

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.
