Favorite Coopertition Stack?

I thought since we have been seeing a lot of awesome canburglar battles and some amazing stackers, there should be a thread dedicated to a favorite coopertition stack. This could either be a robot that makes the stack in an incredible way, or a stack that looks impossible to make but it did happen. I would personally love to see what people have done at all the events before the championship.

I'll start it off by putting up the video of my team, 237 Black Magic Robotics, putting up a nearly impossible stack after it was accidentally knocked over by the other side when trying to finish the initial stack. We start our stacking at 1:30 into the video.

Talk about making lemonade from the situation. Very nice! I particularly like the various arrangement of the totes in the final stack.

Re: Favorite Coopertition Stack?

Don't remember exactly what match, but it was at the Central Valley Regional this year. Since teams had been having trouble getting a co-op stack without knocking the stack over to the other side, team 692 tried something different. 692's robot was a tall, box-shaped robot and they had poly sheets lining the sides of it. After putting their yellow tote on the step, 692 turned their robot and faced sideways so their robot would act as a backstop for the stack and ensure it wouldn't fall over. It worked.

Re: Favorite Coopertition Stack?

It wasn't a stack that was about to fall over, or some crazy save, but my favorite was the 6 tote coop stack made I think by 846 and 254 at SVR!

Re: Favorite Coopertition Stack?

My team, 1507 placed our 3 yellow totes from auto onto 3003's 3 yellow totes from auto for a six-high coop stack in our last match, quals 80: https://youtu.be/UhkUyJpQkhE?t=89

Any other six-high coop stacks out there other than 254's and ours?

Re: Favorite Coopertition Stack?

I enjoyed watching Sacramento Qual 36 in person. 3250 Kennedy Robotics made the co-op stack using one of the knocked over yellow totes from the blue alliance, and two from their own alliance. The strategy worked very well with 3250 noodling the RC's for 1671's three stacks. 3250 then had the rest of the match to spend doing the co-op.

Re: Favorite Coopertition Stack?

This was my favorite. It happened at the PNW Auburn district event. They didn't earn any points (because the totes aren't fully supported by the step), but oh what style!
