Off site: Your favorite forum software

Way off topic, but I've decided I want to do a forum on people that have finished the Great Loop, the trip that I'm on. I'm spamming you since most of you travel the inter-webs and hit other forums.

I'm looking for your favorite Forum Software. My favorite boat place runs Kunena, but some of my favorites run vBulletin (like CD and the VEX forums) I'm looking for ease of use by the computer stupid. Which sites do you go to that have easy to use software?

Since I speak fluent PHP (and yet I have to look at the hand tattoos that says Red Alliance / Blue Alliance) I want something along those lines. Thanks, sorry for dragging you away from Champs info.
