Durham high school teachers Strike

I was just wondering if there were any teams from the region that may have to miss worlds due to the teacher strike.

Its a shame when things like this happen, I knew many teams that were effected by the teacher strike during the 2013 season.

Im from ontario, and there have been many talks about the teachers going on strike for the past month. Durham was scheduled to go first, and it is expected that many other boards will follow. My board, the halton district, has about 8 teams, and from what ive heard, the strike will begin sometime this week. However, it should not delay students trips (if theyve payed for them).
