Thumbs down Uck!

I HATE SPIDERS!
My guys like them for supper though.
I have a 75 gallon community tank. The whole lower area of the tank is water and has a White Clouds in it. It also has a pair of Fiddler Crabs in there for clean up and a Firebelly newt who crawls around. Sometimes in the water and sometimes he tries to climb up into the plants like an Anole. There are also five firebelly toads that patrol the shorelines of my terrium. I have an artificial waterfall and use artificial plant because I have had such bad luck with real plants and the lizards don't really care if the plants are real or not. Stalking the upper area of my terrium are a pair of Green Anoles and a pair of Brown Anoles. I also have a Gold Dust Day Gecko who keeps a low profile as much as possible and hides in the back. Lastly I have a pair of Green Tree Frogs.
I've been keeping this type of set up in over five years in three different type of aquariums. I bought the 75 gallon after we got back from the Nationals. My previous Lizard Lounge got a massive crack in it when I was cleaning it. It didn't last long on the curb though.
I would love to one day get a Poison Dart Frog but I think my wife will kill me if I get one. They're really expensive(they can cost a s much as $400) and she already doesn't appreciate my hobby(as I indicated before, she's from St. Croix and anoles are common as rain down there. She doesn't see why anyone would want to own such creatures. The escaping crickets don't help niehter). The last time I spent big on a reptile I bought a baby Chameleon. Unfortunately I had the wrong kind of light in his aquarium and he died of Metabolic Bone Failure(his bones got really soft) so making a big investment in a critter can be a big risk. I may have to settle for a Mantella.

I had a leopard gecko affectionately named Spots.. She caught crickets faster than anything else..

But then one day she seemed to become depressed, and sunk in a funk (no pun intended), so I gave her to my dad's friend who also had a leopard gecko- and she perked up. Then she became a daddy? Yeah, I know, it sounds weird..

Great starter lizard like Bearded dragons but I prefer more tropical type of lizards like Chameleons(not good for starters. Too sensetive).
My poor chameleon died from Metabolic bone failure bedaue i used the wrong lamp.

we had to make a biodome for biology... and i went out in my backyard looking for bugs and lizards... and i found a ring neck snake, and named him Ralph
then i brought him to school, and we made our biodome, and after 3 weeks, they became infested in ants, and we couldn't find Ralph anywhere... it was a very sad day, b/c i wanted to keep Ralph as my pet

one day, i will get myself a snake... one day ::sigh::

Awww, I want a snake. In the past I've had a few firebelly newts, some anoles and a couple of tree frogs. Sadly (kinda), I only have my two greyhounds now. No more reptiles/amphibians for me.
