Re: 1114's HARPOONS

I want to see how these end up being used come elims. if they reel in the cans thats fine, but if they dont. someone might bring across a souvenir with them when they pull the cans from the other side. Which may result in a red card under the right conditions for the harpoon user. Speculation.

Whoa. All their eggs in one basket it appears? I wonder if they'll wait until semifinals in case it doesn't work?

Doubtful, as average still matters. I think they will wait until finals.

I think they might use it for the last semifinal match assuming they have a good average coming into that match.

It will be 1114 vs 1678 for SF-6

We may be much more likely to see it now with 1114's SideSwipe-mounted canburglar all twisted up after that last match.

Re: 1114's HARPOONS

After 1114 broke in the second round of the semi's, 900 packed up the robot into the transport configuration... Think we'll see it in a few minutes?

Re: 1114's HARPOONS

My guess is that the Curie alliance knows that they're likely OK coming out of this match due to the lead they have on 1671/1678/118's average, but also know that the finals is against the same alliance that broke 1114's arm.

End of match edit: SHEEESH. It RTS is right, it will be super close on the averages.

Scored edit: Ow. 1.6 points.

Looks like they won't get a chance to show off the new 900.

Re: 1114's HARPOONS

It looked like they were going to use almost every match. They put it all back in transport config but than took it back out.
Can't wait to see an improved version at IRI!
