Re: Einstein Field

Definitely 1114's and 148's championship to lose. Despite what I think of this game, just like any game, these finals are going to be awesome. I'm not even dressed, I don't want to miss a second for anything.

Ultra close camera angles don't make for good spectating for those of us seated on the opposite side of the stadium...

You mean 118, 1678, and 1671's to lose.

Re: Einstein Field

That on-field interview was painful to watch. I understand that they want to make it more exciting and like a sport, but she only asked him different variations of "aren't you pumped to be here?" I'll save my judgments for the end of the event, but they aren't off to a good start so far.

The interviews are always awkward.

Re: Einstein Field

Did Autonomous just stop abruptly on the red side of the field? It seems like 1114, 1923, and 148 all stopped early, 148 hadn't entered the zone yet and neither 1114 nor 1923 backed up after spearing the cans.

Yes it definitely appeared that way. I wonder if 148 will try to challenge it to get a replay.

They're high school kids, not professional athletes....going to be a tad awkward but they definitely could have planned better questions for her...

Not to mention they don't even interview professional athletes during timeouts during a game, which is the equivalent to the time between rounds for an FRC team.

I love how the interview lady asked the Simbotics girl how it felt to be on Einstein as soon as they got knocked off...

She seems like a really cool person, and an amazing driver (the Simbots girl, not the interviewer). Is this her senior year? I know 1114 has drivers for 3 or 4 years at a time.

Who is she? (The interviewer) It seems like she isn't really a part of the program, we have interviewers for The Roboshow down here and they have more interesting and tactful questions to ask......

Reminds me of that irrelevant singer they had last year.
