2451 PWNAGE Can Grabber at CMP

Here are some pictures and video of our can grabbers at the 2015 FIRST World Championship. It was amazing to see all the different ways teams went about this challenge and we were very proud of what we ended with. Unfortunately we didn't quite have enough time to dial in the second one but was happy to see it our idea work on the field.

Here is a video of the team testing both grabbers in our pit on Friday afternoon. This was shot in real time.

Here is a video of the team testing both grabbers in a practice match on Friday. As you can see the right one worked as planned (it was the first to be added and dialed in) while the left just barely missed the hole. THis video was shot at 1/8 speed.

Finally, here is a video of our can grabbers being used in a QF match in Galileo. Both of our can grabbers beat the opponent but unfortunately that pesky left one missed the hole again. The battle for the right one was very exciting to watch. Once again, filmed at 1/8 speed.

Here are some pictures of the mechanism. Feel free to ask any questions!

Re: 2451 PWNAGE Can Grabber at CMP

I loved the can battle in Galileo, it was fun! Did you figure out why the left hook kept letting go or missing? I know it happened in our qualification match where we faced each other indirectly, and I was wondering what was causing it since our high speed video wasn't clear enough to determine the cause.
