Re: 2015 Tesla Division

Thanks to everybody on Tesla for a fun weekend of robots. Glad to see a lot of old friends and make new ones.

Thanks especially to 2481 and 624 for picking us to be on your alliance.

We recorded most of the matches on Tesla and should be getting them put on YouTube through out the week.

Lead queuing on Telsa (and Einstein "Mass") was a blast! Thanks to the teams for making this job easy for the Tesla crew. Without your help I would have had to watch Einstein from the stands instead of 10 feet away from the field

It was a lot of fun. Too bad elims didn't go as well as our last qualification match!

Re: 2015 Tesla Division

First off, huge congrats to the well deserving Tesla division winners 3132, 3476, 1255, and 2526! You guys were the survivors of a 8 alliance war of robotic attrition. Great job by great teams filled with great people. It was an honor to share the field with each of you and we look forward to the chances to do it again in the future.

Also, massive thanks go out to our great alliance partners from 624, 3847, and 2930. All of you guys were awesome to work with and it's just a shame we couldn't have survived past quarters to get 3847 a chance to get on the field with us, freshly cheesecaked, and ready to collectively assasinate all 4 of those cans. Outstanding effort from everyone.

2930, you were amazing in your relief role and supported us while we worked to get Spectrum ready for late round action. Great job helping snag that crucial 3rd can in autonomous and playing critical support for the alliance. Awesome job!

3847, huge thanks to you guys for being so willing and able with the cheesecake assist. We were fighting like crazy to give you guys the time needed to eventually get on the field with us. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work out how we planned, but it was an honor to work with you guys. We can't thank you enough for your professionalism and willingness to do whatever it took to help the alliance. It was great to play with you guys in week 2 while you were doing a completely voluntary robot rebuild in Arkansas, and even better to play with you guys at champs so many weeks later. Hope to get that same chance at many events in years to come!

624, you guys are an amazing team with an amazing machine and it was just a shame the mechanical gremlins decided to show their wicked faces when they did. The collaborative effort in building our alliance was awesome and it would have been great to see how we would have collectively fared against the best on the biggest stage. We look forward to playing with you guys in the future and hope we get the opportunity to do so as soon as IRI in a few months. Thanks, guys! It was an honor.

Re: 2015 Tesla Division

I am still unwinding from an amazing weekend.

We would like to thank 2170, 2054 and 706 for giving us a rare opportunity to work with such capable alliance mates. We hope to meet up with you all again.

Congratulations to 3132, 3476, 1255 and 2526 for winning the Division and representing Tesla on Einstein. It was inspiring to see how the Australian teams achieve such high levels of excellence while facing their supply chain and travel challenges make our challenges. We look forward to hearing more Thunder at Championship in the future.

We were also very happy that all the other Houston area teams in the Tesla Division (624, 1255 and 3847) made it to eliminations. Cryptonite and Spectrum worked hard to overcome technical difficulties to improve their performance steadily throughout the weekend. Congratulations to Blarglefish for making it two Houston area teams on Einstein and for giving out really useful swag.

Kudos to the members of 2613, our pit neighbors. The members of their small team worked cheerfully and persistently to make improvements to their robot and overcome significant technical challenges. We hope to see you at events in Texas and at Championship again in the future.

Last but not least, I would like to thank 2481 and 2122 for being so generous with your time and knowledge, answering the multitude of questions from me and my team. You used your world-class robots to help us understand what we need to do to move on to a higher level of play.

I'll second this, you guys made a great alliance. Thanks to all that made Tesla a fun sub-division. 340 had a great time. We would like to thank 1658, 319 and 1502 for joining our alliance. We hoped to take the 8th seed to the finals. Maybe next year. Congrats to the winners and finalists.

+1

Tesla had one of the most balanced and deep fields at Worlds. We had fun working with all the teams and want to thank everyone for making our team's first trip to the Championship Event a joy for us to attend. It was great experience for 2930 to get to meet all of the World-Class caliber teams at the event.

The Sonic Squirrels want to thank our alliance partners 2481, 624, and 3847 for selecting us in the playoffs. We were also disappointed to not see Spectrum get a chance to show off their canburglar skills.

On a personal note, I want to give a shout out to 1511 on Carson. I really enjoyed talking to their mentors and was impressed with their program.

Re: 2015 Tesla Division

All the Tesla matches we have should now be on the playlist. We missed a few qual matches but we have all of the playoffs. We have Einstein video and some ceremony video that we haven't labeled yet.

If people can help out and link all the videos to the Blue Alliance that would be a big help.

Re: 2015 Tesla Division

G'day Tesla!

Apologies for the late reply, but it has taken us a little while to get back home to the other side of the world....and to get over the worst of the resulting colds and sore throats.

As an international team we want to thank everyone on Tesla for the warm welcome and offers of help with tools, parts, and batteries. The teams in our general pit area, like Blaze, Discobots, Lake Monsters, and everyone else were just outstanding and patient with us...thank you! 1403 "Cougar Robotics" was amazing with their supply of tools, vacuum, batteries, and other parts...not to mention moral support! We also are grateful for Tesla taking home the majority of our koala give-aways since taking them home would have been extremely awkward.

For years to come, all 76 team can each say that we were on Tesla the first year it existed. There were so many great teams and alliances throughout the event which achieved a high level of competition throughout CMP.

We were shocked and humbled to win EI for the Archimedes-Tesla Division given so many teams impacting their communities.

3132 is totally indebted to 3476, 1255, and 2526 for joining us on the 2nd seeded alliance. We got to see first hand all the best in FRC teams at work in how the alliance came together and made a much better unit than perhaps the qualification numbers would have suggested. The drivers, operators, human players, pit crews, and drive coaches were just fantastic.

To one and all, congratulations on playing on Tesla at 2015 Championships and we wish you all the best in the future. Good on ya, mates!

Thanks for all of the videos! I am linking them in The Blue Alliance as I type, It may take a few days for them to process. Team 319 had a great time and were impressed with the quality of all of the Robotics Teams in Tesla Division as well as the Gracious professionalism of all the students and mentors!
