This is great Chris! Glad you've announced. If we can help out in any way we would like to. We have some unique experiences with hosting these kinds of events and would love to share them with your team.

If you need help with anything please let us know! I am one of the founders of a Girls in Engineering group with my team and an opportunity like this is priceless for bringing about STEM awareness.

This is great! If you're going to be bringing in outside organizations (for the college/career parts of the event), I'd recommend trying to connect with your local Society of Women Engineers (SWE) section to invite them to attend. SWE has been incredibly helpful in shaping and advancing my engineering education and career.

Re: Girls in STEM Event - Oct 3, @CyberBlue

You guys should call this event "Girls Generation", since 1540 (flaming chickens) and us (2046) both have girls-only events called that... make it a trend

This. The place I used to work at had an event the other day to encourage more female engineers. They brought in SWE, and the next thing you knew 90% of applicants are female.

This sounds like a really awesome event. We will keep it on our radar for next year. The 3494 girls would love to attend and can't wait for more information!

This sounds awesome! 5418 is made up of 85% girls, and we'd love to come... however, we don't have a way to go, though. So.... Good luck with the event, we'll definetely promote it! Like I said. Sounds awesome!
