The 24 year period between championsplits is alarmingly short.
If we keep doubling the number of championship events every 24 years, it'll only take 240 years until there are over 4,000 world champion robots. This may quickly become a problem, as there will soon be more world champion robot spots than teams. The exponential rate of increase of championships is at an all time high, and is currently higher than the growth rate of humans, high schools, FRC teams, and places that can host FRC championships. In 770 years, FRC championships will most likely outnumber human beings on earth, which will cause terrible overcrowding.
