What I find most ambiguous about this is... how were there 6 dead motors in your drivetrain?

Long ago I ceased being amazed when motors, presumed dead, are later found very much alive -- following replacement of wiring, electrical hardware, or code.

CIMs can be killed and I have seen it; however, I have never seen six killed at the same time.
