Hi, I am a google developer. I have worked with many of the recent technology including the cardboard and I have used both software, but mainly Android Studio.
App Inventor- Basic drag and drop system, and is very simple to use. This would be perfect for a team with no or little java experience. It is very quick to learn. Android Studio- This is all java, and should be used by those who are experienced with the language. This takes some time to get used to but can be very powerful. P.S.
