This was definitely a scary match for our alliance. Luckily, we only needed 96 points to move on to the next round. Watch the right step on the Red side at around 2:20. Glad that there were no hard feelings because we went on the win the event.

I think 1676 has a video of a nice early game collision with MORT 11 in the first round of finals at Mount Olive 2013- took their battery out and set them back a whole match, but they won the competition anyway. I will have to see if I can find it....

That was actually caused by a miscalibration of our driver's Logitech Extreme 3D joystick. We found that for some reason, our code looked at the joystick input after auto ended [not intentionally], and when the stick calibrated hard-over, it caused the robot to spin wildly. We fixed this by having a line in our code prohibiting the robot telling the FMS it was ready when the joystick was not centered. This also alerted our drive team to the miscalibration, and did not do so quietly
