Re: Teams Capable of 3+ Full Stacks

It'll definitely be interesting to see how many of each of these robots are in each division.
I'll update later today with that information (hopefully!).

Ending the day on Friday, we wanted to stay near the top and pick RUSH. If we ended up in that position we would of taken 573's role, but I felt we would be very capable of putting down 4 6 stacks for 27 to cap.

Re: Teams Capable of 3+ Full Stacks

The pieces are in place for a great elimination alliance. To go far, you will need an auto robot and two canburglars. If you want to be successful at the high levels, you will need to do one or the other. Right now, there is not a single four RC robot that can quickly get the RCs off the step before they could possible be stolen by the other team. 610 is a quick 4 RC bot, but they can be beaten by fast hookem robots like 3310 and 118. Once their hookems are in, 610 cannot come around and grab the RC. I am sure with their caliber, 610 will have some awesome things in store. I see the winning alliance on Einstein having a 20 pt auto bot and two hookem bots going off the step. With the possibility of diluted divisions this year, we may not see this alliance but who knows.

Why? The cans are valuable because they essentially triple the stack points (plus noodle). If you use one less tote in stacks of 5, wouldn't that mean you have to use three extra totes per capped stack of 5 to make up the difference with capped stacks of 6 once the cans are out?

1296 was doing 4 capped 5-stacks in the OKC elims

Nice stacking!

Were y'all able to get four capped at 6 high from the feeder station?
