Re: 2015 R2OC

Fondy Fire is all packed up for R2OC. We also like the rule changes.

Did Argos drop out?

One of their mentors I talked to last weekend said they wouldn't be able to make it. Hopefully there will be enough teams to have full elims alliances.

Re: 2015 R2OC

The Roboteers, Team 2481, would like to extend our thanks to the hard working volunteers and organizers of the 2015 Rock River Off-Season Event for a terrific event. Our team thoroughly enjoyed the event and seeing all our good friends again.

R2OC was the perfect setting for many teams to give the opportunity for new drive team members to get the feel of a competition. There were many new faces and many new combos that took the controls behind the glass.

Congratulations to all the teams that participated and to 4655 Stateline Robotics, 461 West Side Boiler Invasion, 1747 Harrison Boiler Robotics, and 4485 Tribe Tech Robotics for their great run through the playoff brackets. You are great competitors and we were honored to take the field with you in finals.

Thanks also to our fabulous partners: 2826 WAVE Robotics, 171 Cheese Curd Herd, and 2781 RoboPride for their invaluable assistance and superb teamwork in winning the event. WAVE produced another magnificent robot with their amazing 28 point auto mechanism. While some of the more visible teams get a lot of recognition, I would like to point out that it is often the performance of the third robot at an event like this that make the difference in the final score. Cheese Curd Herd and RoboPride should both be commended for their outstanding efforts in contributing to our alliance.

Re: 2015 R2OC

Thanks Tim! It was a really special day for 2781 RoboPride. It was great to be on an alliance with some really inspirational teams. We will be looking forward to what the Roboteers and Wave come up with this year. Hopefully we get to play with and against you guys again.

R2OC was an excellent tournament, and it has become an annual event for us. Great job everyone!
