Re: Hawaii and hurricanes
The Big Island (Hawaii island) is always the one that gets hit the hardest, shielding the rest of us on Oahu. Many previous hurricanes/tropical storms have hurt that island or Kauai really bad in the past, versus Oahu.
Big Island also has frequent Earthquakes because of their active volcanoes.
Costco, Walmart and Target are the worst places to be when preparing for a hurricane.
