FIRST Recycle Rush Relay Game

Hello all,

A while back someone posted a YouTube video of a Recycle Rush relay-race style game that they had used for an exhibition.

I can't find the post but I need to know if anyone who was a part of that could post or send me the rules and set-up for that relay. We are trying to set something similar up at our local Maker Faire and I would love to not have to design the challenge from scratch.

Cheers.

Re: FIRST Recycle Rush Relay Game

Thank you sir.

Is there anyone from 122 or 2363 that can let me know what exactly they did and what they would do differently if they were to do it again?

Thanks.

Re: FIRST Recycle Rush Relay Game

2363 head coach here.

We were closing up shop (notice the field is in various states of disassembly) at the end of a day-long demo and just wanted to play around. The "rules" were made up on the spot and should be fairly obvious from the video.

1. proceed to end of field 'A' and capture RC
2. proceed to end of field 'B' and capture 3 totes
3. proceed to 'A' and deposit a freestanding stack of 3 totes, with RC on top

If we were to do it again? Maybe we'd bring the 2014 bot instead-- makes for a more impressive demo for a general audience.
