Donkey Basketball
AKA: Jack Basketball
(although it's normally said without the 'b')Any other schools fundraise with an event like this? My school does. How to play: get 10 donkeys and play 5v5 basketball on the donkeys. If the donkeys make a mess, you get off and clean it up. Great fundraiser for rural areas My school was finally able to do it again since our new gym has become old again Alas, I don't get to play...it seems to be on April 11th...and that causes a bit of conflict ![]() |

We have more cows than donkeys or even people in my rural town... and cow's don't like basketball all that much.
We do have a fundraiser (not for FIRST, but for the school in general) where the inside field of our track is divided into 10'x10' squares (with white field paint), and people place money per square. Once all bets are placed, a cow is set loose in the field. Wherever it "does it's business" the person who placed the bet on that square gets something like 30% of the earnings. Kinda suck but kinda cool, in a wierd way... Poor cow.. must be so confused. |

I remember watching donkey basketball at my school a couple of years ago when my brother and sister went, but we don't do anything like that now...it was pretty funny to watch!
