[FTC]: Recommended season schedule for a rookie team?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advice from veteran teams about how should a rookie season should look.
All of the mentors in the new team come from FRC so we know the concept of robot designing but we need to adapt to the FTC season.
The FTC season is longer and in addition because we are rookies we have a lot to learn during the season itself.

So in general, what I'm looking for is an advice about how to integrate training sessions during the season and what the season schedule should look like for a rookie team? Thank you!
