Re: Run As Wpilib Java Deploy does nothing
Quote:
To install the tools, you should go to Help -> Install New Software, and type "Luna" in the search box and click the recommended link that pops up. If nothing appears after a while, try unchecking the box that says "Show only the latest versions of available software". When the items for download load, open the tab that says "Programming Languages" and scroll down to Eclipse Java Development Tools. Check the newest version's box and click next. Take the defaults on all options and let it install. Restart the IDE and you're good to continue in the documentation steps. The WPI tool installation should be the same process regardless of whether you are using Luna or Mars. |

Re: Run As Wpilib Java Deploy does nothing
So I installed the C++ version. When I attempt to find and install the Java Developer Tools under the available software it just says Pending forever no matter what options I select.

If it still didn't work, try unchecking the button that says "Contact all update sites".

Re: Run As Wpilib Java Deploy does nothing
Okay so the conclusion was that you cannot deploy with MARS. You need to run Luna. We had success with the 32bit version of Luna. Installing the 'Eclipse Java Developer Tools' and FRC plugins from Luna took more than an hour. They ran extremely slow, but just be patient and they will eventually finish. I found that I could download eclipse from here much faster than from the eclipse.org site:
