[FTC]: FIRST Res-Q Robot in 3 Days Demonstration

We just finished building tonight, so the video is short and sweet. We'll upload more footage during the week or over the weekend, so keep an eye out!

Watch the video here.

Looks awesome! Can't wait to see where this concept goes throughout the season.

Re: [FTC]: FIRST Res-Q Robot in 3 Days Demonstration

Awesome video and a great accomplishment for just a few days!!

But just as a public service announcement to anyone else who might be watching this, the strategy shown is in violation of rule GS13 (!!).

To score in the middle or high zone goals, robots need to be "Completely On the Mountain and the Robot's drivetrain must only be in contact with the portions of the Mountain above the two inch tall buffer Area that is defined by white gaffers tape located at the bottom/entrance to the Mountain ramp." So robots aren't allowed to put anything in the high or middle zone goals if they are in contact with the floor, which prohibits collecting a bunch on debris and shooting the debris from the floor into the goals.

Keep up the great work!

Re: [FTC]: FIRST Res-Q Robot in 3 Days Demonstration

Copy pasted from another response.

"Yes that's true. Due to alignment issues (and the fact that we couldn't hook onto the first churro), we had to touch the bottom while we were shooting. This is more of a proof of concept than anything else.

However, that doesn't seem like an insurmountable problem. But we were running out of time, and no referee was gonna jump out and call us out on it, so we decided to let it be."

Thanks a lot for the support though.
