FTC K9bot running problems

Please let me know if this is not the right place to post my problems. And, by the way, I'm not at all clear how I will know if I have been answered.

Getting started on FTC 2015-6 we built a K9bot and very carefully followed the instructions. It worked! Except the servos. The Telemetry data shows that the "arm" and "claw" values are being set but the servos themselves don't move. Any advice?

More recently the K9 has begun to fail to start up. The "Robot Controller" window contains the messages: (1) Unable to open Modern Robotics USB Servo Controller. (2) Unable to find USB Device with serial number ALOOYAX3.

We don't think we changed anything, but now the K9 doesn't work anymore.

Re: FTC K9bot running problems

Normally, I think this might go in the FTC sub-forum, but this is fine.

I think the telemetry data is reporting the "get()" function from the servos, which happens to be exactly the value you set on the servos since they can't actually report back a number (only be sent a number). So telemetry will look normal regardless of whether the servos actually move.

Is your servo controller plugged in? Servos plugged in correctly? Does the servo controller still work / light up?
