Go to Post I think the best driver team of the post season would be Mike Wade and Pete Baltzell- because they have been driving that NASA field all over the Northeast so all of us can play. Thanks guys!! - Wayne C. [more]

Controller to VictorSp?

I am working on a small project. I am currently running two cim motors via VictorSp:

http://www.vexrobotics.com/217-9090.html

Using an Arduino Uno:

https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardUno

but I want to b able to control my motors with a reciever. Is it possible to connect the Victors directly to the Vex controller:

http://www.vexrobotics.com/276-2170.html

since they are pwm ports? If so, can I just program the Victors as I would motors? That way I can just use one of the vex recievers to control my motors...

Re: Controller to VictorSp?

The Arduino Servo library can be used to control speed controllers like the Victor SP.

Re: Controller to VictorSp?

It's definitely possible. Just program them like the Vex EDR motors.

Re: Controller to VictorSp?

you can plug them in to the cortex just like you would the vex motor controllers, you could even use a talon or a jaguar, they all use the same rc pwm

I need a jaguar development board for reprogramming a jaguars bootloader. if you have one that you want to sell, pm me. thanks

Run you CanJaguars on arduino with ArduRIO, you can also easily control Talons, Victors,Jaguars and Sparks on PWM. https://sourceforge.net/projects/ardurio/
