[FTC]: Legacy module not connecting to phone

Hi, we are attempting to connect our robot to our robot controlled phone (through cable of course) though when we connect it our legacy module does not turn on (glow red) when we power on our robot, due to this; our phone does not read that we have a legacy module connected.

FYI: we are using the textrix motor and servo controllers from the past few year. Also, we have randomly been able to get this to work but the way we get it to work is completely different every time. On occasion, we have connected our phones to each other and started the program with the working electronics but when we attempt to move a motor it does not move, or send any voltage through the motor power cable.

If you can possible help thank you in advance,
~Walker Ward, FTC 5328, FRC 2906~
