Question [FTC]: Phone drains voltage...

When we connected the phone to our robot, the voltage that we measured dropped from about 12 volts to about 5 volts. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how do we fix it?

We are measuring the voltage at one of the Power Distribution Module's outputs
while the phone is connected. When the phone is not connected, it shows about 12 volts, but when it is connected, it shows about 5 volts.

Maybe the power is disabled unless in init or run mode?
