Our team is located on the coast of Ecuador, Guayaquil.

Welcome to FIRST. It sounds like you've already made some great contacts with 233 and 3132. COPOL sounds like an amazing school and should have tremendous technical support with the ESPOL supporting you. We're familiar with the rigorous IB Diploma program and our top students always struggle with the time commitment required to be successful in that plus building a top level robot each year. It can be done, but one has to keep their priorities in check to make it work. Good luck at the New York City Regional.
