We machined a few parts that allow us to have v-grooved bearings on the outside of our slides. The wires are set up in such a way that all of the slides move at once, when the bottom wire is winched into the robot. I haven't seen any videos/manuals from RevRobotics yet, but I imagine that Greg and the team are busy getting ready for the FRC season.

The way that we designed our lift, required us to combine two 17in sections together for all of the middle slides, (We have 4 sliding sections). On the tops of these combined slides, we also tapped a plate into place, that holds the middle, double slider in, as we couldn't figure out how to keep them in place, so we just let them free slide in place.
