Re: 2015 Bloomfield Girls Robotics Competition

The Bloomfield Girls Robotics Competition was a great event again this year.
We had 32 teams attending and hundreds of young women attending and competing with their robots.
Channel 2 and Channel 4 television crews came out to provide coverage on the Detroit area daily news.
The new Bloomfield High School is a great robotics event venue.
We gave out 4 $1000 scholarships to senior girls from attending teams.
Congrats to Brandi Bolinger from 2337 EngiNerds on winning the Female Mentor of the Year Award.

Great job by our Killer Bees Girls: it was the first time on the field for the whole crew: #1 Seed, and Event Winners with no adult help at all.
I guess all of those practice sessions were worth it.

Thanks to Bedford Express, Livonia Warriors, and Team Virus for all your great work on our alliance.
It was great teamwork by everyone and the finals were great with a high score of 236 in finals #2.

This is the 3rd year in a row that the Team 33 ladies have won this all-female robotics tournament.

Great job by Andy, Margie, and the entire event staff.

Recycle Rush is finally over,..... 54 days till Kickoff.

Re: 2015 Bloomfield Girls Robotics Competition

Congratulations Jim. I notice 1023 and 3547 were also repeat winners from last year. Congratulations. Wish I was there to see the event.
