Who is taking advantage of the open opportunities
From the sound of this forum and just general discussion amongst FIRST it appears attendence to this years Nats will be down. So does this mean that alot of waiting list teams will be making the trip this year? What do you think

It'd be nice to see some of the impressive teams that didn't qualify be able to go.
A prime example of this is Aces High (176). Anyone who has seen them at competition knows that they have an amazing, well-rounded robot. Their autonomous mode works extremely well, and they have been a competitive force to be reckoned with both times I've seen them (UTC and BAE). The fact that this great team, and their amazing robot hasn't qualified for Nationals, and therefore will not be attending, is in my mind, proof that the system still needs some tweaking. |
