Re: [FRC Blog] 2016 Safety Animation Award Competition Details
I don't disagree, but I feel any argument about "taking FIRST seriously" is putting the cart before the horse. It's important to remember the competition is the vehicle, not the ultimate goal.

Second. Last year's winner didn't use 3D software.

To get back on to the Safety Animation, I'd love to see one that has a team: * Plaster vinyl safety stickers all over the floor turning the entire pit area into a slip and slide, the show other teams skidding around. * Roboteers run up to a team pit and plaster every square inch with safety stickers so that all you can see is the stickers. * Robot cart with 8 horns on a tower above the robot yelling "Robot" where the visual sound waves (hey its an animation) bowl / fling people out of the way A humor version of what not to do.... |

Fortunately you can still access pages on the old site if you replace "www" with "archive". This link goes to the animation rules: http://archive.usfirst.org/roboticsp...deo-and-manual |
