Great job on this video!! The camera work, the narration, and the music merged perfectly. The best trailer I've seen for FRC, you guys are amazing!

Amazingly well done!! Finally a short and incredibly well produced video that we can send people when they ask "Where have you been for the past 4 months?"

Funny how that NBA Chess audio works so effectively for chess, basketball, and competitive robotics. Or not.

You got it right on. Earlier on in the thread someone asked who wrote the script. The audio is actually from one of my favorite NBA commercials (credited and linked in the YouTube video information). I've been wanting to work on a video that used this audio for some time now but this year it worked perfectly with the theme.

Most of the work was in time spent looking through hours of video and trying to match it up with the audio as we wanted to flow naturally between each scene. We also wanted to capture the excitement of FIRST and some of the great moments in FRC in the past several years.

Here's the original NBA commercial that Rene referenced.

Fabulous choice of inspiration. The way you combined the original audio with some of the most epic matches in FRC history is simply priceless.

What if all FRC teams petition the NBA to be included in their next ad? It would work so well with Rebound Rumble, comparing the humans and the robots...

Let me echo this sentiment. I think your team has accurately captured what is so difficult to explain to those who have not previously participated in robotics competitions. That, in itself, is a major accomplishment.

Kudos for your hard work. I'll be keeping this link handy.
