If I CROSS a DEFENSE in position 2, additional DEFENSES are the ones in positions 1, 3, 4 and 5 are they not?

So if I completely CROSS a DEFENSE, then back up so my BUMPER is over it, I REACHED it as well.

I'm guessing there will be a Team Update that will change it like:
