Questions about the Spy Bot

The manual did not specify much on the Spy Bot. I know it starts in the enemy courtyard against the corner. I did not specify is the robot is allowed to score or hold a boulder during the Autonomous period.

Check G7. Also check 3.7, note no exception for where the robot is.

Also, please refer to the game pieces as boulders so that people with the same question can find this post by searching.

Re: Questions about the Spy Bot

We had the same question too. We also had a question about the spy box. Can you have a human player in the spy box even if you don't have a spy robot?

What do you think? Try reading G9, which can easily be found by using the find function and typing in spy box.

Re: Questions about the Spy Bot

@rtfgnow It's kinda rude to just tell someone to look and not to quote the manual:

Quote:
G9 - DRIVE TEAMS must be in their CASTLE and behind the STARTING LINE prior to the start of the MATCH, with the exception of one (1) DRIVER or HUMAN PLAYER per ALLIANCE who may elect to start in the SPY Box as outlined in Section 2 (2.1 Zones & Markings).
So having a human player start in the Spy Box is independent of having a robot in the enemy courtyard.

Actually, it's standard practice at this stage of the game.

Why, you ask?

Because everybody should be reading the Manual. If you obviously haven't, why should we help you be lazy? He gave a rule number.

And the reason for that is because CD statements are NOT official, the Manual is.

Now if he'd said "hey, I looked but can't find this", that would be another story.
