YOU Predict the Average Match Score of 2016's Week 1 Regionals/Districts

Mostly, this thread is so we can look back in eight weeks and realize how terribly wrong we were. Qualifying round is probably the most useful, but elimination scores are interesting to try and peg as well.

If you can post a reasoning that's awesome, but we'll take just a number as well.

Just keeping in mind that a good amount of points will be earned solely by driving.

Quals: 24
Eliminations: 65

Edit: I think elim scores will be lower than what others think mostly because of the popularity certain tasks will have based on difficulty and because defense may be even more effective than Aerial Assault.

Re: YOU Predict the Average Match Score of 2016's Week 1 Regionals/Districts

Robot in 3 days team Indiana from Andymark (I think) has been prototyping and testing all day, and they said that a higher end qual score will be about 165 (from a high level/regional winning alliance). The breakdown is 40 in auto (from 3 robots crossing and one shooting in the high goal), and the rest scored by cycling in teleop. They said with modified elims scoring they estimate an average 45 point bonus per match. I think this is pretty high, but I have not been prototyping very heavily so im not sure. This is also probably more accurate for later in the season, but they all seemed to agree that this was near the approximate score.

Re: YOU Predict the Average Match Score of 2016's Week 1 Regionals/Districts

I guess another question is how many RPs would you expect a #1 seed to earn throughout a competition?
