So after watching the game video a couple times I realized that you only need to destroy 4 of the 5 defenses to get a breach. This means that you would technically never have to deal with the Low Bar if you didn't want to. Do you think its still worth designing for your robot to go under the low bar if its unnecessary to get breaching points.

Depends on your strategy.

1> The low bar is always in a known location (position 1).
2> It is the shortest route from your secret passage (where boulders are entered) to the enemies tower.
3> assuming others think as you are, you can add to an alliances capabilities by being able to damage that defense.

So, again ... it depends on your chosen strategy.
