We used brazing rods and an oxyacetylene torch as well as a wooden jig we made and some clamps. This caused serious warping of the aluminum and the expansion of the aluminum made it pop out of place even while clamped. Also, we accidentally heated one spot too much and one of the bumper supports fell off!
