Where YOUR selected defenses go

Say you are in the Blue Castle, would you place your defenses in position A or B? 5.5.10 states "i.e. the Red ALLIANCE selects the Blue ALLIANCE DEFENSES." So I would say, since you're in the Blue Castle, you would get to put them in B. That sounds pretty odd, considering you would play your strengths and pick defenses you KNOW you can get over easily. Is this true, or am I reading this wrong?

Re: Where YOUR selected defenses go

You will be selecting the defenses your opponents have to traverse. Meaning you select the defenses closest to your driver station.

Re: Where YOUR selected defenses go

In practice you pick your defense you want to practice on
In quals you pick what you you want to make it hard on the other alliance

Re: Where YOUR selected defenses go

I think the interpretations given above are correct. I think the manual is very strangely worded, which makes it confusing.

Re: Where YOUR selected defenses go

The defenses you pick would end up in A, because the red alliance has to traverse your defenses to shoot boulders into your tower. And if your in your castle for whatever reason and want to get out, you can just use your secret passage, where the opposing alliance cannot
