Climb Ideas

What are people's ideas for climbing the tower in the last twenty seconds? Also, if you have a great idea, would it be able to be multi-use (that is, also be able to be used for defenses)?

Re: Climb Ideas

If you want to see some ideas, check out Robot in 3 Days. Even better, they have working prototypes.

Re: Climb Ideas

Look at ideas from 2010 (Breakaway) and 2004 (FIRST Frenzy). Also, it's possible to create a multi-use system if you look at tasks that require similar motions. Hint, Portcullis requires a lifting motion, while hanging generally requires a pulling motion.

Re: Climb Ideas

Check 2004 they had a 10' endgame hang. Mostly grapple hooks that year. don't see how they would be used in defense since that's only 15" to the side.
