For those urging to "take the foul", remember that repeated fouling can result in a yellow card for egregious behavior. The yellow card doesn't have to be specifically linked to a rule that specifies a yellow card for the violation.

I can't think of any scenario in which slightly overlapping the center line to grab a ball during autonomous could ever be considered "egregious" behavior. Maybe that's why I'm not a head referee yet...

Question about repeated. In a match or in the competition? Since you're only committing the foul once per match.
