Kinect V2 on robot

Hi,

Has anyone tried using a Kinect v2 on an FRC robot? My team is considering purchasing one to use this season, and I would like to see if anyone has positive or negative feedback about it.

If we get one, we would be using it with a Jetson tk1 to locate boulders and various defenses in autonomous.

Thanks

Re: Kinect V2 on robot

The Kinect 2 is a very good sensor. More complex to setup than original.
You will need a laptop running windows 8.1 or 10.0
At least one Usb3 port.
Network your results back to the roborio.

I believe it meets all the rules, were you thinking of any one in particular?
