OM5P-AN Radio Trouble
Our programming team is having trouble configuring the radio. The specific error is :
Bridge Programming Sequence Failed Failed to change IP address, please check for an adapter with the address : 192.168.1.51 We have already changed our sharing settings, switched our Ethernet, and ran the program as an administrator. |

What type of power supply are you using? Because ours would not work because we where using a 5 volt power supply and this radio requires 12 volts.

Re: OM5P-AN Radio Trouble
That error message means the PC being used either will not let it's IP address be changed (can be blocked by third party security tools) or the IP address is already assigned to one of the other PC existing network adaptors.
Try Disabling all other network adaptors and leaving only the Local Connection 1 Enabled, and try changing the IP address (to 192.168.1.51 ) by hand to see if it gives you an error message. |

Re: OM5P-AN Radio Trouble
Even if you disable the other adapters it will still throw that error because an adapter is using that IP. Go into the ipv4 settings of every adapter and make sure that they all have a dynamic IP

Re: OM5P-AN Radio Trouble
We were having the same issue and turning off our wireless adapter fixed the issue (we only had two adapters, wireless and ethernet)

Re: OM5P-AN Radio Trouble
I also had an error configuring the radio (not sure if it was the same one or not). Then, I tried updating the firmware first, and then it worked.

Re: OM5P-AN Radio Trouble
If I remember correctly (I might not), the new radios don't come with firmware by default, and you have to load the firmware yourself. There's a guide somewhere that tells you how to do it.

Re: OM5P-AN Radio Trouble
This was the KOP radio, so it should be already flashed.

Re: OM5P-AN Radio Trouble
I had the same issue. This is what I did to fix it.
http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=141688 There was also lots of rebooting. |
