319 - Prototyping Videos

FIRST Team 319, Big Bad Bob, has created a playlist for our 2016 season. We'll be posting any videos we take there throughout the season.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...2kY6mJst1ra6xz

Currently, we have 2 videos of our prototype shooter. The shooter has two 775-18v motors through VEXpro 3:1 planetary gearboxes driving BaneBots 3-7/8 wheels. There is a motor and two wheels on each side of the shooter. Spacing between wheels on each side is 2", gap between the pairs of wheels is 8".

These were our first couple shots with the prototype. Once we've reinforced it, we'll work on multiple shots to test consistency and how it reacts to ball variation.

Beautiful sounds! For some reason your video strikes me as nicer than some of the others (maybe it's the workshop?).
Thank you for posting the numbers on your shooter.

Perhaps it's the lack of dialogue and celebratory expression? Other videos have one or both, and this seems to be the difference I notice.

We've added a video of a collector prototype. It can be seen in the playlist above.

What are you using to interface the hex shaft with the PVC?

We turned town some old destroyed BaneBots wheels from 2013 and pressed the hubs into the ends of the PVC.
