If you examine that list a little closer you will see that some teams aren't competing anymore.

So...a list of active teams? This might be what you're looking for. According to FIRST, 3174 teams are signed up to compete in the 2016 season.
-Evidently the search parameters don't carry over in the URL. Check off FIRST Robotics Competition, and uncheck Events, then Show Results and it should be good.
