RS775 with Encoder
Are these motors legal (PG27 Planetary Gearbox with RS775 Motor and Encoder (am-2923)) - or do we need to add encoders after the fact. And if so, can someone explain why?

Re: RS775 with Encoder
Yes, the motor itself is an AM-2194, which is legal.

Re: RS775 with Encoder
Thanks for the clarification, so as long as the base motor is legal, we can order different assemblies of it including encoders, gears etc...
Thanks |

Re: RS775 with Encoder
For the record:
It is virtually identical to an am-2194, but it is not an am-2194 motor. The am-2194 has a short back-shaft which does not interface with an encoder It is an am-2766, which is also a 2016 FRC-legal motor. It's an am-2194 with a longer backshaft. |
